   Create your account

   Sign up free with your email. No card required to start.

   Add your vehicle

   Enter year, make, model, and engine. Vehicle-specific info improves the hypotheses.

   Enter your symptoms

   Describe what the car is doing: noises, smoke, when it happens, cold or warm, at what speed.

   Add an OBD2 code (if you have one)

   If you have an OBD2 reader and a code like P0420, enter it. If not, WrenchPulse still works with symptoms alone.

   Get ranked hypotheses

   The AI returns a ranked list of likely causes, with urgency level and which system is involved.

   Follow guided tests

   Before you buy any parts, WrenchPulse suggests simple tests to confirm or rule out each hypothesis.

   Save the diagnosis

   The session is linked to your vehicle with symptoms, code, hypotheses, and the tests you ran.

   Log the repair or maintenance

   Once you resolve it, log the repair with parts, labor, and cost. You can also track maintenance by mileage and date.

How it helps you avoid replacing parts blindly

The most expensive mistake in a home diagnosis is buying a part because it “sounds like” that failure. WrenchPulse ranks hypotheses by likelihood and shows quick, cheap tests before any purchase. Only when a test confirms the cause do we suggest the repair. If a test cannot be done safely at home, we say so and recommend a professional.
