What we collect

• Account: email, name, password (hashed), skill level.
• Vehicle data: year, make, model, engine, mileage, nicknames you enter.
• Diagnostic content: symptom descriptions, OBD2 codes, photos you upload, notes, repair logs.
• Billing: handled by Stripe — we never see your card. We store subscription status only.

How we use it

• To run AI diagnoses (your symptom text, vehicle, and photos are sent to our AI provider for processing).
• To save your sessions, repair logs, and maintenance items so you can review them later.
• To verify your subscription with Stripe.
• To send necessary account emails (password reset, billing notices).

Photos

Photos you upload are stored in a private storage bucket scoped to your user ID. They are sent to the AI provider only when you run a diagnosis. We do not sell, share, or use them for advertising. Deleting a session does not yet auto-delete its photos from storage — to fully purge photos, contact support.

Who we share with

• AI provider (Lovable AI Gateway / Google) — for diagnosis processing.
• Stripe — for billing.
• Supabase — for data and file hosting.
• Law enforcement only if legally required.

Your rights

You can update or delete your data at any time. Email-based account deletion is available — contact support. Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. EU, California), you may have additional rights to access, correct, or export your data.

Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. After deletion, account and vehicle data are removed within 30 days. Backups may persist for up to 90 days.

Children

WrenchPulse is not directed at users under 18.
