1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using WrenchPulse ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What WrenchPulse Is

WrenchPulse is an AI-assisted automotive diagnostic tool intended for educational and informational purposes only. It is not a replacement for a certified mechanic, manufacturer service documentation, or professional judgment.

3. No Warranty — As-Is

The Service, including all AI-generated diagnostic output, is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that diagnoses, test steps, parts identification, or repair guidance is accurate, complete, current, or appropriate for your specific vehicle or situation.

4. Assumption of Risk

Automotive repair involves inherent risks including but not limited to fire, electrical shock, chemical burns, crushing injuries, and vehicle failure. You assume all risk for any action taken based on Service output. You are solely responsible for verifying torque specifications, safety procedures, and the correctness of any procedure before performing it.

5. Safety-Critical Systems

For brakes, steering, fuel systems, airbags, suspension, and any safety-critical system, you must consult a licensed professional mechanic. Do not rely on the Service for these repairs.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WrenchPulse and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including property damage, personal injury, or vehicle damage.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

Premium plans are billed annually through Stripe. The first year is $19.99; subsequent renewals are $29.99/year unless cancelled. Cancel anytime via the billing portal — you keep access through your paid period. See our Refund Policy.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, notes, vehicle data). You grant us a license to process this content solely to provide the Service. Do not upload content that contains personal information of others, illegal content, or content you don't have rights to.

9. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.

10. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
